'Nurse Jackie' star Peter Facinelli on lesbian divorce, Season 4 and life after 'Twilight'

As Dr. Fitch Cooper on Showtime's "Nurse Jackie," Peter Facinelli does not have an easy road.
Despite his character's best efforts, he remains an outsider at All Saints' Hospital -- most recently thanks to his indiscretion with co-worker Sam's (Arjun Gupta) girlfriend and the resulting broken nose he's forced to wear like a scarlet letter.
So in the interest of kicking a man while he's down, the April 25 episode breaks the unsettling news that Coop's two mothers are getting a divorce. Bad news for him, but good news for everyone else, as they're played by guest actresses Swoosie Kurtz and Judith Light.
"He's been kind of knocked off of his horse... he's at a low point in his life," Facinelli tells Zap2it. "For him, the arc this season is that he needs to grow up a little bit. So in pure Coop fashion, he decides to grow up in all the wrong ways
